About Pitch My Dissertation (UK)
We are connecting industry-academia by providing opportunities for students to make meaningful impact and enhance their post-study work prospects. Empower your unique university project through experiential, real-world practice and contribute to the sustainable development goals.
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to see entries that demonstrate originality, creativity, relevance, practicality and measurability.
A well-developed concept should:
• improve access and quality
• be innovative and bold
• be relevant, applicable and with a high potential for impact.
A well-developed entry should satisfy the following criteria:
• make explicit link to one or more Sustainable Development Goals
• clear social impact/benefit
• be sustainable
• involve youth co-creation or community engagement
• have the potential for commercialisation
• have measurable output.
How to enter
1. Complete and submit your final year Bachelor’s or Master’s dissertation
2. Enter a category most relevant to your dissertation area. Categories include Most Innovative Dissertation Prize and People’s Choice Prize.
3. Submit your entry by completing the application form or uploading a short 60-second video. Entries will be shortlisted by a panel of experts. Read our terms and conditions and eligibility requirements.
4. Prepare your 5-minute pitch, if shortlisted for the Pitch Day

Judging panel
Shortlisted finalists and winners are assessed by an independent panel of judges. They consist of international experts and seasoned professionals in education, employability, and enterprise from private and public sectors. Find out more about their work below.
