About Pitch My Dissertation (PmD)

PmD is a transformative initiative designed to foster responsible and impactful research among international students studying across universities in the UK and Africa. Every year, thousands of international students arrive in the UK for their Master’s program, many of whom face barriers in translating their research into real-world impact. Challenges related to access, funding, supervision, and context often lead to disengaged, repetitive, or underdeveloped dissertations.

PmD exists to change that. By incentivizing quality research, funding promising projects, and connecting students with industry and policy actors, PmD enables students to pursue dissertations that matter- both to their communities and to the world.

We are connecting industry-academia by providing opportunities for students to make meaningful impact and enhance their post-study work  prospects. Empower your unique university project through experiential, real-world practice  and contribute to the sustainable development goals.

Our Vision

To become the leading platform that supports, rewards, and showcases socially impactful research led by international students.

Our Mission

To unlock the power of student research by providing financial, academic, and professional support, ensuring that important ideas don’t end in the archives but instead become solutions to real problems.
